Hello, I am Seetha from Arizona. I am a UX designer/researcher, passionate about enhancing peoples' lives through innovative and immersive user experiences. My mission is to help people with a joyful experience in using the latest technologies. My marketing degree from Arizona State University helped me to become a professional in digital marketing. My passion for UX research and UX design motivated me to earn a master's degree in UX Design from the Kent State University. My digital marketing, UX design, and UX research backgrounds strengthened my creative abilities in designing new product / user experiences.
Work Experience
I worked at Intel as a technical marketing intern throughout my undergraduate. Experienced how the latest technologies and new markets for these technologies are created to enhance people’s lives. Joined Dick's Sporting Goods as a UX Designer. It is a very rewarding experience as our teams' efforts are instrumental in increasing online sales by 135% YoY. My focus area is shopping cart, critical to company's top line revenue. I am responsible for user research focusing on cart abandonment, loyalty rewards, buy online pick up in store (BOPIS), curb side pickup, competitive research, and private labels. I conducted surveys, focus groups, user interviews in stores, competitive research, private labels research and how they can leverage existing e-commerce and pick up in store infrastructure. As a UX designer, I reimagined the shopping cart page for Dick's and its private labels Calia Studio and Golf Galaxy. Digital transformation of retail industry has accelerated during the COVID pandemic. BOPIS and curbside pickup have become mission critical. Our teamwork helped Dick's to increase BOPIS and curbside sales by 300%, customer satisfaction by 10%, largest ever.
Hobbies
My hobbies include traveling to new places, understand new cultures, enjoy new cuisine, and engage with people from many walks of life. Traveled to 12+ countries including India, China, France, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Ireland, Thailand, etc. It reinforced my belief that how new technologies are helping people to make their daily lives better. I am looking forward to helping industries in their digital transformation journey by providing immersive UX.
